Brief introduction of Tong-Fu elementary school
壹、創校沿革
　1. 本校原為信義國小《今羅娜國小》同富分校，於民國35 年9月獨立設校《校址設於望美村望鄉社區》。
　2. 民國36年9月郭明哲接任首任校長。
　3. 民國48年神木分校獨立設校。
　4. 民國51年桐林、東埔分校獨立。
　5. 民國53年遷校址至同富村現址，校地面積0.8公頃，屬台大實驗林地。
　6. 民國93年12月22日新校舍落成。
　7. 民國94年8月1日童新景接任第十二任校長。

I. The initiation of Tong-Fu Primary School
　i.Original school is named Sin-Yi primary school’s branch school of Tong Fu (Lo-Na primary school, today).1946,Sep. the school set up independently in Wang-Hsiang community of Wang-Mei village.
　ii.1947, Sep. Kuo, Min-Che is the first to be appointed to a principal.
　iii.1959, established independently Shen-Mu primary school.
　iv.1962, branch schools in Tong-Li and Tong-Pu community.
　v.1964, the school move to Tongfu village now. The campus’ the measure of area is 0.8 hectare and belongs to Tai-Ta experimental woodland.
　vi.2004, Dec. 22nd new school buildings are finished.
　vii.2005, Aug. 1st Tung, Hsin-Ching takes over the 12th principal.

參、校務概況說明
一、 本校地理位置與學區概況
　　 本校位於信義鄉陳有蘭溪上游，居本縣新中橫公路之要點，也是通往東埔溫泉、玉山國家公園等名勝必經之道，青山綠水，風景秀麗，是一所仁類的偏遠山地小學，校地面積0.8公頃。
　　本校現編制12班，學生234人，其中原住民籍學生100人，是南投縣山地鄉學生人數最多的小學，學區包括望鄉社區（布農族）、和社地區（閩南）、東埔六鄰（布農族）、農富坪（客族）、神木一鄰（客族），是各族群聚集的學區，家長多以務農為主。

III.Introduction of Academic Affairs
※Geographical location and general situation of learning community
　 Our school is on the top of Chen, Yu-Lan River in Sinyi Township. It belongs to one of the important points of New Chung-Heng Highway in Nantou County. Besides, it is the essential road not only to Tong-Pu Hot Spring, but also to the national park of Yu-Shan. Green mountains and clean rivers surround the environment. The scenery is very beautiful and impressive. This is a kindhearted primary school in the remote mountain area. The campus’ the measure of area is 0.8 hectare.
　Now, we organize twelve classes. The total number of students is 259, in which aboriginal origin’s students are 98. Tong-Fu has the maximum of number of aborigines in the mountain of Nantou country. The school community includes Wang-Hsiang community (Bunun), Ho-She community (Minnan), Tong-Pu six neighborhood (Bunun), Nung ful plain(Ho-Ka), Shen-Mu one neighborhood（Ho-Ka）. Therefore, Tong-Fu is the learning community which each race gathers. The most of parents devotes their selves to agriculture.

※The characteristics
1.Promote physical activities and develop students’ healthy bodies.
2. Focus on the activities of Children Literature and bring up linguistic abilities.
3.Develop Grade 1-9 curriculum and realize the creation of instruction.
4.Develop information technology education to meet the trend of New Age.
5.Realize the counseling job and develop parent’ education to build humanistic campus ethics.
6.Realize the education of diversified cultural to improve the harmonious race.
7.Realize life education to develop the virtues of diligence and service.

伍、未來展望
　　教育工作是整體性、持續性的革新歷程，唯有不斷的追求與創新，才能適應多元化變遷的社會，發揮文化傳承與改造社會風氣的功能與使命，基於此一理念，今後本校宜朝下列方向繼續努力：
（一）落實教學工作，期使教育精緻化。

（三）維護校園安全，使學生快樂中學習。　　
（四）重視生活教育，培養學生正確的價值觀。

　　全體同仁均珍惜現今擁有的一切，且發揮教育專業知能，努力以赴，追求卓越之教育，實現精緻教育之理念。

※Prospective for the future
　 The educational work is the whole and contiguous process of innovation. Only pursue and create unceasingly, we can adapt to the diversified and changeable society. We should develop cultural inheritance and the function to reform social atmosphere.
　According to our ideal, Tong-Fu will continue to strive in some points in the future.
